Masters of Design
Innovation and inspiration. Management and creativity. Fast Company features their fourth annual report on the intersection of business and design with their 2007 Masters of Design.

Just a few of the features you'll find online is a video interview with Yves Behar on furniture design, a video tour of R/GA's best interactive work, a fascinating article on Sam Lucente, Hewlett-Packard's first vice president of design, and a slideshow of the 2007 Designer Approved, a list of well-designed widgets we love.

Meet the 2007 Masters of Design -- the designers who best understand the intersection of business and design.

HBF Partners with Edelman Leather
A new partnership offering luxurious and heirloom quality Edelman Leather combined with the innovative design and quality construction of HBF seating products now provides A&D professionals total freedom when specifying high-end, leather-upholstered seating.

This new program with HBF provides designers more freedom, more color and more texture options when specifying HBF furniture. And to simplify the process even more, all Edelman leather products have been graded into the HBF seating price list. With over 750 Edelman colorways, 60 textures and every piece of the HBF seating collection, this is total freedom for designers, made easy!

Moderne
Moderne, the new collection of upholstery and wall fabrics pays homage to the geometric forms and sleek curves of Miami's elegant South Beach hotels. The patterns and their names derive from decorative motifs at various hotels that fired the imagination of Mary Jo Miller, Director of Design for HBF Textiles.

The luster and finesse of the yarns (polyester, cotton, rayon), the hand of the fabrics and their weaves further summon up the era while ensuring a well-made product that will age gracefully. Moderne is comprised of six exquisite fabrics in 59 coordinating colorways commemorating the architectural materials of their namesake hotels.
